How do I book a session?

After looking over my pricing page, head to the booking page. There you will find a form to fill out with information that helps me get your photoshoot started. I will reach out within 24–48 hours to begin discussing your photoshoot further.

Do you require a deposit?

I do not require a deposit. You can pay for your photoshoot anytime up until the time of your session.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking at least 2 months in advance to guarantee I can schedule you on a date that you want. 

What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?

No worries about the weather! That is something out of our control, so I am very flexible. We can reschedule!

Can I reschedule my session?

One reschedule is permitted with at least 24 hours' notice, as long as I am available. If you cancel your session entirely, any payments made are non-refundable.

What time of day are sessions scheduled?

Most sessions take place about an hour before sunset, also known as golden hour. This gives the soft, glowing light you see in my portfolio.

What should we wear?

I recommend choosing colors and styles that represent you, but I am happy to recommend options based on our photoshoot locations.

How long does a session last?

It all depends on your session. Most of the sessions I offer are up to one hour. I also offer 15-minute headshot photoshoots.

What locations do you recommend?

I recommend locations that have plenty of nature or beautiful architecture. Some of my favorite locations around CENLA are:

• Catahoula Hummingbird and Butterfly Garden - Bentley, Louisiana

• Lake Buhlow - Pineville, Louisiana

• Downtown Alexandria - Alexandria, Louisiana

I am always excited to try new areas or even your own back yard!

Can we choose our location?

Yes! I am glad to help find a location but if you have somewhere in mind, I would love to take your photos there!

Do you help with posing?

Yes! I am here to make your photoshoot easy and comfortable. While I include some posed positions, I prioritize movement and real-life moments. I will give you prompts that guide you in a way that allows me to capture you authentically. You don’t have to worry about anything.

If there are poses you would like to try, just let me know! If you have a Pinterest board, feel free to send it my way when you book.

How many photos will we receive?

On my pricing page, you will see an estimated number of photos for each session. These are estimates, and you could possibly receive fewer, but you will most likely receive more! I send all edited photos that I deem worth editing.

When will we get our photos back?

My usual turnaround time is 2-3 weeks, but it can sometimes be sooner. I try to send you a few sneak peeks within the first week as well.

How will the photos be delivered?

Photos are delivered through Google Photos. You can easily download all of your images or share the link with others. Access to this album will be available for up to 2 years. I recommend downloading all of the images and saving them to your personal storage.

Will the images be edited?

Yes! I only send edited images. You will receive all images in both color and black and white.

Can we download and print our photos?

When I send your gallery, I will include instructions on how to download your photos. Google Photos allows you to download individual photos or the entire album on a phone or computer.

I do not offer printing services, but I am happy to point you in the direction of places where you can print your photos.

How much do your sessions cost?

All my different sessions are different. Check out my Pricing page to see all of the options I offer.

Do you offer payment plans?

I would be happy to work with you to create a payment plan! Let me know in the booking form when you fill it out.

Are travel fees included?

Locations more than 50 miles from Alexandria, Louisiana will include a travel fee.
